Dancing the African Diaspora Conference 2014

This weekend I am honored to be presenting at Duke University's Dancing the African Diaspora: Theories of Black Performance Conference.

I will be presenting a paper entitled Roots as Routes: The Sacred Tree, Movement, and Memory in the Haitian Vodou Ceremony of Souvnans. Looking forward to seeing friends, colleagues, engaging and inspiring performances and presentations.
